Hey, everyone! Are you ready for the new makeup review on my blog? Today I`m talking about 'My Short Cake' liquid eyeliner by the famous Korean brand Skinfood. This eyeliner is a part of a makeup collection, which also includes mascara, eyeshadows, blush, and other products. All of the products from 'My Short Cake smth...' have a similar vintage design, and, of course, share the frisky name.
The ‘My Short Cake’ eyeliner by Skinfood comes in a petite and very cute tube, which reminds me a bit o a travel-size mascara. You'll get the 3 g. (around 0.10 oz.) of liquid eyeliner in the tube, but it is more than enough to enjoy the product. The pale-yellow shade of the packaging has a pleasant to the eye vintage design, and the cutes drawing of an angel on it.
But, without any doubt, the best part of the 'My Short Cake' eyeliner is a very fine and small brush-applicator. It works like a magic wand, smoothly and effortlessly applying the sharpest eyeliner wing onto the eyelid. It is possible to create the cleanest and sharpest line with this brush with a single little stroke.
The eyeliner itself is also incredible. It has the most intense, black pigmentation, and lasting power. It stayed put on my hooded eyelids for a good 10 hours without flaking or smudging. It also dries right after you apply it to the skin and has the most beautiful matte finish. Overall, it was very comfortable to use, however, if you are used to pen-shaped liquid eyeliners, Skinfood's 'My Short Cake' eyeliner might feel a bit tricky. You'll need some time to get used to it.
The takeaway of my today's review is simple — I continue my romance with Korean makeup and skincare products. The Skinfood only fortified the spell, and I'm going to stay under it for a long time.
