Keeping your skin healthy, hydrated and glowing goes far beyond good nutrition. Constant care is essential for clean, radiant skin, so you’ll need to include a few new routines into your skincare. One of the health tips that will certainly help you turn your beauty up a notch is to have enough sleep. If you party often, and you don’t get a chance to have enough sleep, your skin will suffer. Getting enough rest is highly beneficial for your skin, because skin cells turn over when you’re sleeping. Also, when you’re sleep deprived, your stress levels increase, which is bad for your skin. Aside from increasing the severity of inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, a lack of sleep can cause acne breakouts, breakdown of collagen and hyaluronic acid, poor water balance, puffy bags under your eyes and under-eye circles.
