Hi, lovelies, oh how I missed reviewing the eyeshadow palettes! It is just so much pleasure to describe each color shade for you, my dear. I feel like I'm talking about the book I've read recently. A few days ago I received a package with this beautiful 18 Color Shimmer Eye Shadow Palette* and since then I was so excited to show it to you guys. So let's get started!
Carmela Shimmer Eye Shadow Palette comes in my favorite classic eye shadow case - sleek, glossy, and very simple. The only thing is missing in the packaging is a mirror, but if you are going to use this palette for professional needs, you don't really need the mirror inside. Obviously, it is not a travel-friendly size, but you can easily store it in your makeup drawer or on the bookshelf. Let me tell you something interesting about this product. All the eye shadows in this palette are larger than regular eye shadows, that's why these shimmer colors will serve you literally forever!
This entire palette has all the eye shadow colors you need to create an everyday makeup look or dramatic smokey eye makeup. All the shades, except for the black eye shadow, are shimmer. Their texture is not chalky but very silky and creamy. As a primer for the swatches you see in the pictures, I used a regular BB Cream. Let me try to describe colors and their finishes for you.

To sum up my thoughts I wanted to say that I’m very satisfied with the quality of the eye shadows pretty much. All the eyeshadows work very well together, they are pigmented and it is very easy to work with this palette. I wish a black eye shadow was a little bit more intense, but if you use a really nice primer or apply it on the top of the black pencil, the color will stand out brighter. I`m almost totally sure, that it is possible to learn how to work with any makeup product you own, so don't give up trying out new ways! Carmela Shimmer Eye Shadow Palette is very versatile and it's making it suitable for everyone.
