Contouring and highlighting is everything we need today to create a beautiful makeup look. No matter how perfect is the eye makeup or how beautiful is the lipstick shade, the makeup always looks incomplete without a touch of bronzer and a pinch of highlighter on the cheekbones. There are so many contouring products on a beauty market nowadays, but not all of them worth the hype and the price. I`m a big fan of a budget beauty, because most of the times the cheaper makeup options are just as good as the high end products and I sincerely believe that we can look our best without breaking the bank.

The Contour Powder Palette* by Nur Besten comes in a matte black packaging, simple and sleek just as I like it. Each Palette contains 6 multipurpose shades: 2 of the shades are medium and dark contouring shades, 1 is a white highlighter, 1 is a `banana` under eye baking powder and 2 others are light and medium pressed powders and you can use the to simply set foundation. All of the shades from the contour palette are absolutely matte, they have a nice and smooth texture. It is very easy to work with all colours, they blend out beautifully leaving the most natural finish on the skin. Both dark shades from the palette have a nice cool undertone and it makes them perfect for light skin. The pigmentation is quite good as well, but it is not super intense.

I prefer powder contouring over cream contouring at the moment, because cream contour kits can be harder to use for beginners and for those who have light skin complexion like myself. It is always easier to blend out the edges of the powder bronzer and highlighter than to work with a heavy cream textures on your skin. Though if you are an owner of dry skin type, cream contouring may work better for you, because powder have a tendency to emphasize peeling and flaking skin. This Powder Contour Palette by Nur Besten is truly a multipurpose product, because you can use all these shades to contour not only your face, but body as well. I also like to use it for my eye makeup, on a days when I choose a natural look.

Needless to say, this palette is a huge bargain and definitely worth every penny. It is a perfect dupe for such expensive contour palettes as Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Powder Kit ($ 40), Smashbox #ShapeMatters Palette ($ 55), Too Faced Cocoa Contour Makeup Palette ($ 40) and Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Kit ($ 45). If you are a makeup junkie or a fan of Kim K. contouring techniques I think you will like this Bargain Contour Palette, by the way it is an amazing holiday gift.

Danimer Matte Black Lipstick # 5 | Review & Swatches

When it comes to lip makeup winter is all about those bold and unusual lipstick colors: deep purples, cold browns and 'vampy' reds - the options are endless! But there is one classic color that sticks out most from the others - Gothic black. Matte black lipstick is "universally" flattering color that looks great on every skin tone and hair shade, so it is a must for any lipstick junkie. Today I`m going to review the Danimer Black Lipstick* - the perfect `statement` lipstick to treat your inner goth this winter.

The formula of the lipstick is smooth and moisturizing, it applies evenly on the lips. The main thing we all look for in a good lipstick is the pigmentation and staying power. The lipstick by Danimer is not opaque, unfortunately, but buildable, so you can always apply few extra coats of the lipstick to get a rich pigmentation. To make your lip makeup extra neat use a regular black eye kohl to line your lips first. Then fill in the desirable lip shape and apply the black lipstick, clean up the edges with a help of concealer or foundation. I would say that the shade is neutral, but is leaning a little bit towards the warm side and the finish is very beautiful, smooth and matte. You can easily transform this matte finish into a luminous eye-catching finish by adding your favorite lip gloss over the lipstick.

Overall I really liked this lipstick and I doubt that I will wear it just at winter, I`m going to wear it all year round. Danimer Lipstick is very dark 'vampy' shade, but it looks very seductive and surprisingly feminine. It has a lovely formula and it is available in 4 beautiful shades: true red, antique bronze, violet and black. I`ll talk to you again very soon. Hugs and kisses :*

Lots of love,

eye brows before after how to tutorial eye brows

We all know how important is to have a nicely shaped and filled eyebrows, but what is even more important is to keep your eyebrows looking natural. That is why an eyebrow tints and gels were invented and became so popular nowadays, they always make a freshly filled eyebrow look flawless and help to keep those stubborn eyebrow hairs on place. Today I`m going to review Liphop Eye Brow Gel* - an affordable product that have become my favorite staple in my every day makeup routine.

The formula of the Liphop Eye Brow Gel is incredibly long - lasting and smudge proof, the product stays on the eyebrows throughout the whole day without fading or clumping. The gel also dries very fast and it is very comfortable in use, thanks to the tiny wand applicator. The dark brown shade #02 is the perfect match for my brows at the moment, the texture of the gel is very creamy and pigmented, I needed a small amount of the product to cover both of my brows. I`m so happy that it feels lightweight once applied, because I can`t take the disturbing `crispy` feeling on the skin.

I like to use this gel right after I fill in the basic shape of my eyebrow, I gentle sweep the wand up and down to cover all the hairs in product. But it is important to be gentle with the application and not over apply the gel on the eyebrows or you will end up overdoing your brows. This product is very handy on those lazy days or when you don`t have too much time in the morning.

Last word, I certainly enjoy using this product and I want to recommend it to anyone who needs a quick and easy product to fill in the brows. The Liphop Eye Brow Gel is available in four different shades 01 - light brown, 02 - dark brown, 03 - blond, 04 - dark blond. I'll talk to you very soon, my lovelies!

Lots of love,

My skin has always been on a dry side, so when it comes to foundations I always choose BB or CC cream over a traditional liquid foundation. The other reason why I chose a bb cream is because of it`s caring formula - a special blend between a skincare ingredients and a light pigment. Of course it will never provide such a full coverage as a regular foundation, but it never bothered me. Today on my blog I wanted to talk about the Macely Good Afternoon BB Cream* and share my thought on this little cutie.

I`m a lucky owner of shade # 2 it`s called `Berry Berry Tea`and the formula includes a natural raspberry acids and vitamin A, that help to make the skin look brighter and remove the signs of premature aging of the skin. As most of Asian skin care products Good Afternoon BB Cream has a whitening effect on the skin, but I think it takes some time to see the first changes. I`ll be honest with you, I would be glad to see my freckles disappear. PA++ is a new Korean and Japanese UVA rating system, it shows how much protection from a harmful rays you will get using the product. The more pluses you`ll see on the label, the higher is a level of UVA protection. Macely Good Afternoon BB Cream is labeled SPF 35 PA++, so it is a medium level of the protection, but it is much more than I usually see on a bb or cc creams.

The formula of  Macely `Berry Berry Tea` is nice, it has a nice silky texture and it is very easy to blend the cream. The skin feels so so and smooth after the application. Even though it is a lightweight product it has a quite good coverage - a medium to a full and I was pleasantly surprised with the fact. You can always apply a little bit more of a product to boost up the coverage on a problematic areas of the skin. And the fragrance is great, it is very soft and a little bit sweet, I love it! The Macely Good Afternoon BB Cream comes in four different shades so hopefully you’ll find the perfect color match for your skin.

In a nutshell, I adore this product and I think it is perfect for summer. I highly recommend this product to everyone who needs some extra nourishment and care, it feels very lightweight on the skin and brightens up the complexion. The biggest advantage of this product, except for it`s cute packaging of course, is a pretty high level of UVA protection and amazing coverage.

Do you like using BB Creams? Which one is your favorite?
Lots of love,
Liz
