Contouring and highlighting is everything we need today to create a beautiful makeup look. No matter how perfect is the eye makeup or how beautiful is the lipstick shade, the makeup always looks incomplete without a touch of bronzer and a pinch of highlighter on the cheekbones. There are so many contouring products on a beauty market nowadays, but not all of them worth the hype and the price. I`m a big fan of a budget beauty, because most of the times the cheaper makeup options are just as good as the high end products and I sincerely believe that we can look our best without breaking the bank.

The Contour Powder Palette* by Nur Besten comes in a matte black packaging, simple and sleek just as I like it. Each Palette contains 6 multipurpose shades: 2 of the shades are medium and dark contouring shades, 1 is a white highlighter, 1 is a `banana` under eye baking powder and 2 others are light and medium pressed powders and you can use the to simply set foundation. All of the shades from the contour palette are absolutely matte, they have a nice and smooth texture. It is very easy to work with all colours, they blend out beautifully leaving the most natural finish on the skin. Both dark shades from the palette have a nice cool undertone and it makes them perfect for light skin. The pigmentation is quite good as well, but it is not super intense.

I prefer powder contouring over cream contouring at the moment, because cream contour kits can be harder to use for beginners and for those who have light skin complexion like myself. It is always easier to blend out the edges of the powder bronzer and highlighter than to work with a heavy cream textures on your skin. Though if you are an owner of dry skin type, cream contouring may work better for you, because powder have a tendency to emphasize peeling and flaking skin. This Powder Contour Palette by Nur Besten is truly a multipurpose product, because you can use all these shades to contour not only your face, but body as well. I also like to use it for my eye makeup, on a days when I choose a natural look.

Needless to say, this palette is a huge bargain and definitely worth every penny. It is a perfect dupe for such expensive contour palettes as Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Powder Kit ($ 40), Smashbox #ShapeMatters Palette ($ 55), Too Faced Cocoa Contour Makeup Palette ($ 40) and Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Kit ($ 45). If you are a makeup junkie or a fan of Kim K. contouring techniques I think you will like this Bargain Contour Palette, by the way it is an amazing holiday gift.

Lots of love,
Liz

Avon Nutra Effects Micellar Cleansing Water | Review

Micellar water avon review blogger liz breygel skin care blogger buy online
Micellar water avon review blogger liz breygel skin care blogger buy online

Micellar water is one of the most incredible beauty products ever invented and there are a lot of reasons why we should substitute an oil based makeup removers with this magical solution. Originally Micellar water was created in 90's in France, to help women deal with a harsh water in regions. Some people claim that micellar water can replace the whole skin care routine and tons of expensive skin care product we like to use on a daily basis.

I was running out of my Balea Nourishing Facial Toner that I liked to use as a regular makeup remover and decided to do a test drive of a super popular Avon Nutra Effects Micellar Cleansing Water. I`ve heard a mixed reviews on this product, some people hated the smell of it, but despite of all the negativity around this product I wanted to try it out myself and share my thought with you.

Avon Nutra Effects Micellar Cleansing Water comes in a regular clear plastic bottle and contains 200 ml (about 6.8 oz) of a solution. The product itself is free of soap, parabens, coloring and any fake fragrances. The list of ingredients is terrific, especially for those who like their cosmetics to be natural. Avon Micellar Water formula mostly consists of a flower and seed extracts (like Honeysuckle Extract, Sunflower Seed Extract, Salvia Hispanica Seed Extract) and this explains it`s weird medical fragrance. I can`t say I`m a big fan of the scent, but it does not bother me at all, I simply don`t mind it.

Micellar Water by Avon is suitable for all skin types, it does not cause allergic reaction or irritation. It never leaves any sticky residue on my skin and perfectly removes all the makeup of my skin, even the waterproof cream eyeliner was easily removed with a help of this product. The Avon Nutra Effects Micellar Water is not exactly a dupe of a famous Bioderma Sensibio H2O, bu the formula is close enough, so you can easily substitute these products. At the moment it retails for $ 3.15 and I think it is a very budget friendly product. I will definitely repurchase it in the future again :)

What is your favorite Micellar Water?

Hi everyone, today I have an awesome reviews to share with you guys! I received the whole bunch of Y-Cid Lip Crayons* from one of my favorite online stores. There are so many exciting shades! I had so much fun swatching them and I think few of these colors will definitely become my everyday lip products.

The Y-Cid lip crayons come in a matte black tubes. To get the product out of the packaging you just need to twist the bottom part of the crayon. Each of the pencil has a transparent plastic cover, so it is easy to choose the color you need at the moment. It is also easy to store these crayons, they don`t take much space in the makeup bag or drawer.

These lip crayons are a mixture of lipstick and a moisturizing lip balm. The formula is caring about your lips and at the same time provides a nice amount of the color. The finish is semi matte, without any shimmer or glitter to it. Y-Cid crayons have a smooth, creamy and stay on my lips for a good few hours. And even though I have a need to reapply it time to time, I`m still very satisfied with it`s staying power. At first I was a bit skeptical about the pigmentation of these lip crayons, because most of the lip pencils by other brands are sheer, so Y-Cid pigmentation was a nice surprise to me.

I really wish they would give a name for these babies, they so deserve pretty names! Here is a little description of the shades:

02 - nude rose; 03 - hot blue based pink; 04 - cherry red; 05 - fuchsia; 06 - brink pink;
08 - deep blue based pink; 09 - ruby; 10 - fire coral; 11 - magenta; 12 - orange red

Overall I need to say that I`m in love with these babies! The Y-Cid crayons are a perfect dupe for the 3 concept eyes jumbo lip crayons, and the colors also look similar to the Top Shop lip crayons. If you are searching for good lipstick, which will have a nice pigmentation and will moisturize your lips at the same time Y-Cid crayons are exactly what you need. They retail at $1,99 each and you can buy your favorite color online from Born Pretty Store. Don`t forget to use a special discount code LIZH 10 to receive a 10 % off. Thank you for reading my blog girls, I`ll talk to you in my next post :*

Color Trend Blush | Review & Swatches

Hi girls! Today on my blog I`m going to talk about one of the oldest, but absolutely adored blush in my makeup collection. I purchase Color Trend Blush in a pretty peachy color named `Cheeky` probably few years ago, but I still can`t stop using it, that`s how much I love it! Unfortunately I haven`t find exactly the same blush in the Avon store, they've totally changed a design of the Color Trend line and their blushes became matte. But I though you might be interested to know that `Cheeky` is a perfect dupe for  Mac `Peachykeen` or `Springsheen` and Nars `Orgasm` blushers.

Color Trend Blush `Cheeky` comes in a simple plastic container with a transparent cover, and to tell the truth, I like it more than a new one. I just think it is more comfortable. There are 5 g / 0,17 oz of the product, which lasted me for a long long time. The blush has a very silky texture and beautifully blends on the skin. The color is peachy with beautiful frost finish. On my skin it works as a blush and highlighter at the same time - double team :3 The pigmentation of the Color Trend blush is on the top, one gentle swipe and your skin looks fresh and luminous!

If you loved this product and want to try it out, you can check Avon`s website and purchase a fresh dupe for this old buddy - Color Trend Blush in shade `Peach`. It has a matte finish, but the color is pretty much the same. This blush will look absolutely gorgeous on any complexion. Thank you for reading my nostalgic post girls, I really hope you enjoyed it :)

And what is your favorite blush?
Lots of love,
Liz
