The mysterious moon glow always appealed to me with its silent beauty and the soft, almost weightless veil of something indescribably, mystical. Some tales tell us that fairies are born under the glow of fulfill-midnight. Later they fly through the old forests and meadows, reviving fallen nature with a special powder — fairy dust!

Today, I'm going to show you how to take the vigor of fairy dust anywhere you go. All you have to do is to apply it generously to your nails! An iridescent nail polish called Mimosa Pudica* by the name of an annual flowering plant holds the power of fairy dust in its little bottle. This nails polish is going to help us create this charming fairycore inspired nail look. Let's start?

The Mimosa Pudica nail polish is one of the cosmic nail polishes from the Dreamy Interstellar series. Last time I showed you a Tender Love nail polish from the same series, which inspired me to create a k-beauty Mermaid manicure on my nails. Mimosa Pudica has an absolutely different vibe — mysterious, soft, and somehow lunatic.

It comes in the same bottle as Tender Love, with a comfy brush-applicator, and features a bunch of starry sequins mixed with iridescent shimmer. This fairy-like potion creates a magnificent color-shifting glow on the nails, changing the color of the shimmering particles from subtle white to sweet lilac. This moonlight glow inspired me to give my nails a magical makeover.

Creating this fairy manicure is easier than you might think. First of all, I prepared my nails for further manipulations: removed the old manicure and polished the surface of the nails. Thank I used two different colors to create a gradient effect on my nails — a soft transition between lilac and white colors. I used a regular kitchen sponge and gently dabbed these two colors on the nails.

The next step, in my opinion, is the most exciting! I picked starry sequins out of Mimosa Pudica nail polish and neatly applied them to the tips of my nails. Try carefully pressing each star with a manicure brush for better adhesion to the surface. Once the stars are in place apply the rest of the iridescent nail polish on the nails. Give your manicure a few minutes to dry and seal your fairy dust nails with a clear top coat. I used a no-smudge top coat by Born Pretty to make my nails last longer.

Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this fairycore inspired nail look. The Mimosa Pudica nail polish from the Dreamy Interstellar series was made for such creative, slightly over-the-top manicures and I'm always happy to try out something new. Just as my previous Mermaid manicure, the fairy dust nails remind me of k-beauty nail looks — it is just as sparkly, bright and out of boundaries.

Usually, glittery and shimmery manicures last a very long time on the nails. Such nail looks may stay put up to a whole week! So, if you decide to cover your pretty fingernails with a similar fairycore inspired look, you won't need to retouch your manicure any time soon. How do you like this idea? Would you wear this look on your nails? Please let me know what you think of this and until next time!

Lots of love,
Liz
