top 3 Essence Lip Glosses, beauty Review with Swatches and pictures by blogger liz breygel: rising star, soft nude, just nude

The Essence is one of my favorite budget-friendly drugstore brands, they have an amazing and diverse choice of high-quality makeup products and lots of positive reviews around the beauty blogger community. Recently I got three beautiful lip glosses from this brand and today I'm going to share my thoughts and swatches on these beauties. All three lip glosses are from different beauty lines and they have different finishes on the skin, so I decided that you would like to see how they work on the lips.

The first lip gloss I want to talk about is the Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in '04 Rising Star' and I was lucky enough to be an owner of this cutie a while ago. The consistency of this lip gloss is a bit runny, it has a very sweet scent of vanilla. I would describe the shade as a transparent baby pink with a shiny duochrome shimmer.

I thought that the Nude Lipgloss in '05 Just Nude!' shade will be my favorite one, because of its light texture and pretty transparent color, but it has some difficulties with the application.  The pigment goes right into the cracks of my lips and the color doesn't look even. The formula of this lip gloss is very moisturizing and a bit runny, maybe that's why it doesn't work very well, but the shade is really pretty. It has absolutely the same scent as a previous lip gloss 'Rising Star'.

And the third and my favorite lip gloss is called Velvet Matt Lipgloss in '06 Soft Nude'. It is this super-beautiful chocolate - a terracotta color that steals my heart away! This kind of color is appropriate both for a night out or a daytime, it goes great with a dramatic smokey eye or a soft everyday look. `Soft Nude` has a pretty velvety finish, it is matte, but luckily does not dry my lips, feels very pleasant and silky on the skin. And the best part - the fragrance. It literally smells like a chocolate truffle, I always want to eat it when I start to apply lip gloss on. By the way, this shade is a dupe for Dior Addict Fluid Stick in 'Mirage', so if you are searching for a perfect substitution check out 'Soft Nude'.

Overall, I would definitely recommend you try all the three little gems, they moisturize the lips very well and have a bright fragrance together with the awesome formula. Almost forgot to mention that Essence lip glosses are sweet, so your partner will appreciate them as well. Have you ever tried Essence lip glosses by Essence? Which shade is your favorite?

Lots of love,
Liz
