Hi, lovelies, I’m back with a new step-by-step makeup tutorial, and this time I was inspired by beautiful Emerald, a May's birthstone. Emerald is a symbol of rebirth and love, this stone is very rare therefore precious. The color of the emerald stone is breathtaking, it reminds me of an ancient green forest - deep, mysterious, and noble. If you look closely at a raw emerald stone you see all the shades of green, from light pistachio to dark basil. This color is perfect for the end of spring —warm and bright May. Emerald makeup will look especially beautiful on blue, green, and gray eyes.
How to Do Eye Look Inspired by Emerald?
1. Start with an eyeshadow primer — apply it all over your eyelid and blend with the help of your finger. Eyeshadow primer will help our color to last longer and look bolder on the skin. Give this product some time to set down and absorb into the skin and continue the makeup.
2. Fill in your eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil or eyeshadow, as you prefer. Start to apply a satin white eyeshadow all over the eyelid, this will make the application of a pencil easier. Now it is time to create a V shape on the center of the eyelid. Don’t worry if the shape turned out to be a bit messy, you can clean the edges later. Fill in the eyelid with the same black eye kohl, leaving a V shape unfilled.
3. Blend the pencil with the help of a small and soft synthetic brush. Create the same V shape form on the lower lash line, but make it a little bit smaller. Start to apply an emerald green eyeshadow on the top of the eye kohl.
4. Apply a minty green light eyeshadow with a soft satin finish in the center of the eyelid, filling in the V shape.
5. The next step is to put black eye kohl on the upper waterline. Curl lashes and apply a few coats of your favorite mascara. To finish up the Emerald Makeup apply dramatic eyelashes and it's done.
