Some time ago I received an email from Born Pretty with an awesome proposition to try out their new nail polish product. I didn't know what product they are going to send me but was excited to receive the package. There was no limit to my happiness when I finally opened the package and found out that I received a magnetic nail polish with a chameleon effect from a new series with the romantic name 'Aurora'.
My wonderful shade is called 'Greenland Night'* and it is the most beautiful heather purple color with eye-catching holographic particles. This haunting shade reminds me of a cold, distant galaxy lost in purple stardust. The color isn't too bright, I would even say it is semi-sheer, like a gauze fabric. The formula of this magnetic nail polish is thin and lightweight, it is very easy to apply it on the top of the base colors. It is not a gel nail polish, so you don't need to have a special UV or LED lamp to get this interesting effect on your nails.

How to use magnetic cat eye nail polish? First of all, you need to apply a base color to the nails. It is better to use darker nail polishes: black, dark blue, green, or purple. Dark colors make the chameleon effect appear more beautiful. Apply two thin coats of the base color, let your nails dry and apply a coat of the magnetic chameleon nail polish.
Before magnetic polish dries, use a magnet to create a design on your nails. The magnet should be as close as possible to your nail plate, but try not to touch the surface of nail polish with it. Now it is time to seal your manicure with a transparent top coat and enjoy the results.
Well, I have never thought that creating such a beautiful and creative manicure could be so simple and quick! I love doing my nails at home, but I can't say that I'm very good at doing my own nails.
