Top 8 Edgy Cyberpunk 2077 Makeup Looks You Should Try in Real Life

About two years ago, I posted a compilation of my favorite hairstyles from Cyberpunk 2077. From wearable hair looks to completely badass style – there was something for every taste! The blog post proved itself to be quite popular. That's why I thought to follow it up with a second compilation. This time, I've decided to cover makeup looks from the game. Here are the top 10 edgiest makeup looks from Cyberpunk 2077 you must try in real life, and simple instructions explaining how to get the look. Of course, you don't have to recreate them accordingly. Try experimenting with colors and shapes, creating your own formula of cyberpunk style. 

#1. Judy Alvarez | Pin-up Eyeliner + Glossy Lips

As seen on braindance techie Judy Alvarez, this makeup look is simple and attractive. A nude, glossy lip makeup makes it ideal for the daytime, while bold eyeliner keeps it strikingly charming. Use this Cyberpunk-inspired makeup as a day-to-night look by adding more dramatic lipstick.

Get the look:

This classic look can be achieved with just a few makeup products and basic techniques. Use a liquid or gel eyeliner to create a thick winged eyeliner on your upper lash line, extending it past the corner of your eye. You can also add a thick flick at the end of the wing for extra drama. For your lips, choose a glossy lip color in a shade that complements your skin tone. 

#2. Hanako Arasaka | Red Smokey Eye + Matte Burgundy Lips

Business lady Hanako Arasaka rocks one of my favorite makeup looks from this game. It is beautiful, simplistic, and monochrome. But the best about it is its wearability! You can easily recreate her iconic makeup look even if you are a makeup beginner. All you'll need to have is a few shades of matte red eyeshadow and similar, but a few shades of darker matter lipstick.

Get the look:

Start by applying a lighter, matte brown, or nude eyeshadow all over your eyelids. Next, apply a medium red eyeshadow to your crease and blend it outwards. Then, use dark red or burgundy eyeshadow to create a smokey effect. Choose a deep burgundy lipstick with a matte finish and apply it evenly on your lips with a thin synthetic brush.

#3. Panam Palmer | Classic Smokey + Freckles + Naked Lips

Panam is another main character in the game, wearing an all-time-trendy makeup look. Her fierce personality is complimented by an outfit and edgy smokey-eye look. A combination of black and brown shades looks incredible on her complexion and emphasizes her vibrant brown eyes. My favorite details – are freckles! You can totally get the faux freckles makeup if you don`t have them naturally.

Get the look:

Apply a shimmery gold or bronze eyeshadow to your lids, and blend it outwards. Use a darker shade of eyeshadow, such as black or dark brown, to create a smokey effect on the outer corners of your eyes. Tightline your eye with black eye kohl. Apply a thin line of black eyeliner to your upper lash line, and smudge it with a small brush to create a softer look. Finish the look with mascara and glossy nude lips.

#4. Cheri Nowlin | Blue Eyebrows + Black And Gold Lips

Cheri Nowlin is the receptionist at Clouds located in Japantown. A fan-favorite NPC, who doesn't play a major role in the Cyberpunk game. However, her cool look makes her an unforgettable character. Colorful eyebrows in an electric blue shade, a pair of bright-blue contact lenses, and black and gold lips. Her iconic makeup is definitely worthy of your attention!

Get the look:

Get Nowlin's iconic makeup by combing your eyebrows first. Cover the dark eyebrow hair with a thin coat of concealer and fill in the shape with an opaque, matte pencil. Add some eyeshadow on top to set the pencil in place. For the black and gold lips, fill in your lip shape with black eye kohl, add a coat of black glossy (or matte) lipstick, and cover the center of the lips with chunky gold eyeshadow.

#5. Misty Olszewski | Punk Smokey + Red Lipstick

The next character was surely inspired by Pris from the Bladerunner universe. Messy short hair, spiky collar, and dramatic makeup look don't scream ''wearable'', but will surely catch your eye. Whether you recreate this look step-by-step, or try to improve it in your manner, here are a few basic steps to take.

Get the look:

Apply a black or dark eyeshadow to your eyelids and blend it using a fluffy brush. Apply the same shade to your lower lash line and blend it out. Add some metallic or shimmery silver eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eyes and blend it into the black eyeshadow. Finish this look with red lipstick on your lips. You can also use a lip liner to define the edges of your lips.

#6. Maiko Maeda | Monochrome Teal Look

I adore Maiko's makeup and hair. Her monochrome look is strict, yet edgy enough to fit into the vibe of a cyberpunk aesthetic. And the hair is simply majestic. Sleek on the front, gathered in a tight Lara Croft-inspired braid, cuffed with metal chains. You can love her character or hate it, but the character design of this NPC was on top!

Get the look:

Maiko's upper id is left untouched, while most of the color and drama are concentrated on the lower lash line. To get this cyberpunk look line your eyes with black eye kohl and blend it with teal-blue matte eyeshadow on the bottom. For the lips use deep blue lipstick with a coat of clear gloss.

#.7  Claire Russell | Perfect Everyday Makeup 

Claire is the fan-favorite bartender working at the Afterlife. The beauty of her look lies in simplicity. I would call her makeup the perfect everyday look. A light hue of cheek rouge, shimmering lips, and a very light, smokey eye that you can transform for the night in seconds. My favorite feature of this look – curled, defined lashes.

Get the look:

Curl your lashes and apply a coat or two of mascara to make your eyes pop. Choose a lip color that complements your skin tone or apply a clear, shimmering lip gloss to your lips. Use a cream blush, applying it to the apples of your cheeks with your fingers. If needed, use a pair of natural-looking false lashes to add more drama to the look.

#8.  Elizabeth Peralez | Lavender-Gray Mono Look

Next is the lavender-gray mono makeup inspired by Elizabeth Peralez. This look goes great with her shiny, futuristic dress and accessories. If you feel like rocking this makeup one day, you'll only need a few basic makeup products and simple instructions.

Get the look:

To get this plain, but very appealing lavender-gray look you'll need two matte eyeshadows: pastel lavender and a light gray, matter gray lipstick, dark gray lip pencil, and black eye kohl for the inner waterline. Apply lavender eyeshadow all over your lids, blending the color upwards with light-gray eyeshadow. Define the shape of your lips with a pencil and fill them in with gray lipstick.
