And so it continues! My deep dive into Elizavecca face masks – particularly the "modeling packs" – is getting deeper with every new review. Hopefully, this is exactly what you’re looking for, because today I’m mixing, applying, and peeling the Berry Collagen Modeling Pack*. It's packed with Monascus Extract (ever heard of that one?) and Adenosine for a soothing touch in addition to cute berry-inspired packaging. Would you like to take a closer look?
About Berry Collagen Modeling Pack
Elizavecca Berry Pack is one of those little round bowls of clay that refresh, calm, and revitalize your skin. So far, I've tried the Vitamin C and Soda Aqua Masks from the same line, and the Berry one is my third gem. Similar to the previous alterations, this bowl is filled with a powder mixture, which, if paired with water, turns into a rubber-like face mask.
- Where to buy?
Get your very own modeling pack on the official Elizavecca website or via the Amazon store. For a price of $7.90, you'll get 28 g (0.98 oz) of the product that lasts up to 2 or 3 applications (6 scoops in totall).
Packaging/ Texture and Scent:
Having already gone through two other bowls of these masks, I’ll briefly cover the packaging, texture, and scent. The product comes in a plastic bowl that looks a bit like a small basin – sturdy and comfortable enough to use for mixing. I would actually recommend splitting the portion in two, as 30g of the powder mix is quite a lot for a single application. You also get a convenient mixing spatula included inside the pack, which you can use to apply the face mask as well.
The dry powder looks like fine, white clay with a barely-there sweet scent to it. Once mixed with water, it turns into a thick, sleek, and rubbery mixture with a more pronounced menthol and chalky smell. It goes smoothly and feels very pleasant on the skin with a slight cooling sensation.
Ingredients:
Now, it’s time for my favorite part: a behind-the-scenes look at the science! Let’s dive deep into the ingredients of the Elizavecca Berry Collagen Modeling Pack. Like the other masks in this line, the formula is built on a base of Diatomaceous Earth. This is such an iconic skincare ingredient. Can you believe it’s actually made from fossilized algae? It works beautifully to draw away impurities and excess sebum, leaving the skin refreshed.
Other important ingredients in the formula include Monascus Extract, which is used in both supplements and the skincare industry. It is known for its soothing and anti-aging properties, but I think it was added here to create a pretty pink hue that would resemble the strawberry juice. This is definitely a powerful antioxidant, so it would be nice to have a higher concentration of it in the product.
It is always a plus to find Panthenol in the ingredients list, especially if you want an extra healing touch in addition to just looking great. Panthenol stimulates the synthesis of lipids in the skin barrier, helping to strengthen it.
Final Verdict…
Hydration: 👍👍👍👎(7/10)
Texture: 👍👍👍👎(8/10)
Overall: 👍👍👍👎 (7/10)
To tell the truth, beauties, this is the only peel-off mask I love, and my skin can tolerate. Most of them hurt or dry the skin, while modeling packs remove the dirt without stripping the skin of moisture. So, if you’re looking for an affordable way to bring the Korean spa experience into your personal bathroom, the Elizavecca Berry Collagen Modeling Pack is a solid choice! It’s cooling, hydrating, and leaves that signature bouncy glow we all love and cherish.
The mixing process is fun, the application is coothign and the peel-off part is satisfying (without damaging the skin barrier), the results speak for themselves. Have you tried modeling masks before, or do you prefer traditional sheet masks?
