You can actually use this method to highlight and contour any part of your face; the only thing you’ll need is a little time to prepare a stencil that perfectly fits your unique features.
- #1. All you need to start with is to apply the foundation and concealer, as you usually do, then everything with your favorite powder.
- #2. After you need to cut out of the cardboard or paper (or masking tape) a piece, it should be as wide as the part of your nose, where you will put the highlighter.
- #3. Then press it carefully against your nose and contour all around this paper. Keep the lines light at first and build up the intensity of the contouring to avoid the harsh lines.
- #4. Remove the paper and highlight the bridge of your nose. Be careful and don't make the line of the highlighter too wide. Don`t forget to blend out the edges with a fluffy blending brush and enjoy the result!
Summarizing...
Try using a matte bronzer or an eyeshadow that is two to three shades darker than your skin tone to keep the look natural. You can also use cream products for contouring, such as a concealer or a darker foundation, but I prefer powder products because they are easier to work with, especially for beginners.
For highlighting, you can use off-white or nude shades, but for a night-out look, you can try a satin eyeshadow for a more interesting glow. Good luck with this simple contouring technique! Let me know in the comments if you’re going to try it. See you soon!
