Happy Monday lovelies, how are you? I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I'm going to review Palma Christie Ultra BB Cream* ‒ another yummy gem in my BB Cream collection. If you are only beginning your makeup journey BB Cream is a perfect product to start with, because of its natural-looking finish and skincare properties. And to tell the truth, I love using BB Creams a lot more than the regular foundations, because they always make my skin feel healthier and smoother than a liquid or cream foundation.
The Palma Christie Ultra BB Cream has a very smooth texture, it is very easy to apply and blend the product on the skin and a little goes a long way. At first, when you apply it to your skin the cream looks a little bit too light, but as you blend it on your skin, it turns into your skin tone. It provides light to medium coverage and instantly brightens up the skin complexion. This BB Cream perfectly covers up large skin pores, small acne scars, and redness without clogging the skin. I like that this cream moisturizes my skin without making it greasy, but people with oily skin types will need some powder to set the BB Cream on the skin.
I like to apply a few dots of this BB Cream by Palma Christie right on my face and blend it with the help of a Face Oval 'Toothbrush' *. This brush made its first appearance on Mac, but today many makeup brands produce their own facial 'toothbrushes'. Though it has very dense synthetic bristles, it is super soft and pleasant. It helps to apply the foundation evenly and lightly on the skin, without absorbing the product into the bristles. The brush also gently massages the skin, making the application of BB Cream even more enjoyable.
Overall, I really loved using The Palma Christie Ultra BB Cream and I would recommend it to everyone who requires some extra coverage and skincare daily. I was impressed with its durability and moisturizing abilities and it gives the most natural finish to the skin. This cream is available in 3 different shades with different undertones, but all of them are pretty light, in my opinion.
Lots of love,
Liz
