What do you look for in skincare products for a good result? The safety of the ingredients, vegan and cruelty-free formulas, and maybe the simplicity of usage? And what about the affordability? I, personally, can't imagine spending hundreds of dollars on a cleanser or moisturizer. I believe that skin health and beauty must be reasonably priced and approachable. That is exactly what I was looking for when shopping for my latest skincare products by Sallve. Let's find out if they both turned out to be as good, as expected!

Sallve's products are simple and very affordable, making them a great choice for younger people and for everyone who believes that beauty doesn't have to be expensive. Sallve offers a huge variety of skin care products: from acne-battling toners and local treatments to retinol treatments and moisturizers. Every single product by Sallve is vegan, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, and packed in adorable, colorful packaging. For my first test drive purchase, I stopped my choice on two products: Tônico Renovador or Renovating Toner and Hidratante Antiatrito or a universal moisturizer.
Sallve Tônico Renovador
Renovating toner by Sallve is a water-based chemical peeling with glycolic 4%, malic 2%, and lactic 1% acid. The reason why I stopped my choice of this product is simple – I was looking for a simple chemical peeling to substitute mechanical peeling. I wanted something affordable and beginner-friendly, as I always relied on a good old 'scrub it until in squeaky clean' method before.
Toner by Sallve is meant to gently exfoliate the skin without an actual mechanical impact. Glycolic acid, also known as alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) is derived from sugar cane. It evens out the skin tone, removes dead skin cells, and can even smooth out acne scars. It is everything you need for a natural glass skin glow!
The results are immediate: 20 seconds after the first application, I felt my skin smoother! Sallve promises to provide more substantial results after 30 days of usage, so I hope to visibly improve the appearance of my pores and blackheads by this time. The toner is not recommended for people with sensitive skin, so I was a bit fearful to start the treatment. I felt a very mild tingling sensation after the application, but it fastly disappeared.
How to Use?
Toner is applied on a freshly-cleaned, dry face with a cotton pad or ball. I prefer to simply use my fingers because cotton tends to absorb most of the product. Gently spread the toner on the skin, avoiding areas around the eyes and lips, and any damaged areas of the face.
If you are new to chemical peels, it is recommended to start slowly. For the first time, use just a little amount of the product, applying it only where it is necessary. If you don't experience any discomfort or redness, continue the treatment, slowly building the regularity and the amount of the toner you use. Remember, the product should never burn, just tingle mildly.
Sallve Hidratante Antiatrito
Sallve's toner was, of course, the main product I wanted to add to my routine. Although, a good moisturizer is always a must, am I right? Hidratante Antiatrito by Sallve is a universal body moisturizer with niacinamide and avocado butter. It was specially developed for sensitive skin, prone to dryness and irritations. The moisturizer is not too thick, and not too light, it has just the right consistency for dry skin, without heavy residue.
How to Use?
Everything is simpler and cleaner with moisturizer – you apply it on clean skin, gently massaging it with your fingers. I like to apply oils and moisturizers on slightly damp skin, as I feel it makes the skin hydrated all day long. You can apply and reapply moisturizer as many times during the day, as it is necessary. In my opinion, Brazilian brand Sallve once again proves that the quality of the skincare products doesn't have to depend on their price. It is possible to have a thorough skincare routine with quality ingredients and vegan formulations for a very pleasant price. I recommend Sallve products to everyone, who agrees with me and to those, who can find these wonderful brands online. In the future, I sure give this brand another try!
