Hell, lovelies, how are you feeling today? I hope you all remember my City Color Makeup Haul blog post because today I've prepared a detailed review on City Color Classic Face Primer* with swatches and my personal experience. And, of course, I dedicate this post to everyone, who struggles with large pores, blackheads, fine lines, and acne scars.

City Color Classic Face Primer comes in a hot pink squeezable tube and for the price, you are going to receive 0.9 oz / 27 ml of product. A little of this wonderful primer goes a long way, so the tube will last you a long time. I really like that Classic Primer is paraben-free, so you can use it as often as you like, without any risks for your gentle skin.

Comparing enlarged face pores with orange skin is rather romantic, but I think that my pores are more similar to craters on the moon's surface, therefore, I like to use a primer in my day-to-day makeup routine. One of the most important criteria for makeup primer is a breathable formula, that won't feel oily and heavy on the skin.

Classic Face Primer is water-based and that is why it feels so lightweight on the skin. The smooth texture reminds me of soft, creamy butter, that fills in every single pore on the face. The nude-tone primer easily blends into the skin, slightly moisturizing and preparing its surface for foundation. Once you apply Classic Primer, the skin feels very smooth and you can definitely tell a huge difference in the appearance of pores and fine lines.

Overall, I really like Classic Primer by City Color Cosmetics. It isn't heavy or slippery, like other makeup primers, and has a matte, but the natural finish on the skin. I love how my skin looks and feels with this primer, and how long my foundation lasts on the skin. I have to admit, that you can even wear this primer on its own, without foundation, especially if you are having a good skin day! And what is your favorite makeup primer at the moment?

Lots of love,
Liz
