A few days ago I finally watched Tom Cruise's new movie The Mummy. Growing up as a huge action-adventure fan I loved The Mummy franchise with all my heart, so I was absolutely thrilled to watch the new version of a good old classic movie. And even though I have mixed feelings about the new Mummy, but I'm absolutely in love with the stunning Egyptian makeup look worn by princess Ahmanet.

Her eye look is a simple version of Horus Eye makeup and it features two dramatic wings, one regular cat eyeliner, and one on the bottom lash line with a bit of teal eyeshadow. Inspired by this incredible makeup, today I’m going to show you how to recreate Ahmanet's Egyptian eye look. Follow this simple step-by-step tutorial and learn how to make your eyes look charming and desirable.

How to do Egyptian Makeup Look for Halloween?

1. Start your makeup with an eyeshadow primer, apply it all over your eyelid, and then blend with your ring finger. Eyeshadow primer will help your Egyptian makeup look last all day long without fading and creasing. Don’t forget to fill in your eyebrows, you can use your favorite eyeshadow or eyebrow pencil as you prefer.

2. Apply a matte peachy eyeshadow all over your eyelid and blend it with the help of a fluffy blending brush. The peachy shade will beautifully contrast with a bright blue eyeshadow, creating a perfect combo for classic Egyptian makeup.

3. Now it is time for the winged cat eyeliner, you can use any kind of eyeliner product you prefer: liquid, gel, or cream eyeliner. To make your Egyptian eye look more intense tightline the upper waterline with the help of black eye kohl.

4. Ahmanet is an ancient mummy, but she looks young and fresh, so conceal any dark circles under your eyes and set the concealer with setting powder. Now it is time to sketch the bottom line with the help of a fine synthetic eyeliner brush.

5. Apply a teal blue eye pencil on the waterline and fill the bottom lash line with this gorgeous color. On the top of the pencil, I also applied eyeshadow to make the color last longer and look brighter. This bold accent is my favorite part of the makeup!

6. To finish the Ahmanet makeup curl your eyelashes and apply a generous coat of your favorite mascara. To make your eye even sexier and appealing apply false eyelashes and the makeup is done!
