Extra Edgy
One of the biggest and definitely the most striking makeup trends of the upcoming winter/spring season is an extra edgy eyeliner. A large number of girls wore these elaborate graphic designs on their eyes. So, all you need to stay trendy this winter is some blackest black eyeliner, sharpened eye kohl, and just a bit of imagination.
Lead makeup artists at Dries Van Noten, Peter Philips added depth to the lids with a thick matte black paint. Dior decorated nude faces with black eye pencils, drawing imperfect designs on the outer corners of the eyes. And ladies at LaQuan Smith, Versace, and Marni had long thick and skinny double wings.

Glittering
Is there anything better than glitter? We don't think so! Fashion and makeup artists absolutely agree with us, bringing the glittery trends back on track. Get rid of plain eyeshadow colors and coat your lids with chunky gold flakes à la Kate Spade style or magnetic rose gold shimmers, seen at Simone Rochas. Pair glittering eyes with little or no other makeup on your skin and bold accessories.

Blurred & Stained
There were several makeup looks, representing my favorite blurred eyeshadow and stained lips look. As evidenced by the Marques Almeida there is nothing bad about blurry color on your eyes, sloppily applied on the lids. Be ready to experiment with different colors: fuchsia pink, cobalt blue, yellow, and tangerine. Apply them around your eyes, smudging the harsh lines. The ideal accompaniment for blurry eyes is stained, smudged lips. Check my post about the soul eater lip trend to learn more about this imperfect, but so charming lip trend.

Blushing Skin
Anna Sui's beauty was inspired by artist Tony Duquette and she used a lot of washed-out colors on her model, creating a sunset effect on the skin.“Celebrating self-expression” is the main concept of Giorgio Armani new collection. To reveal the natural beauty, Linda Cantello makeup artist at Giorgio Armani, blushed her models with iridescent rose gold hues.
This look is simple, minimalistic, and very modern. The lips were left almost untouched with just a bit of dewy gloss. Fenty Beauty draws inspiration from the appearance of a stained-glass, therefore makeup artists painted hints of glowing color on the dewy skin. This look turned out to be very vibrant and juicy! I can't stop admiring the models.

Marc Jacobs
Marie Antoinette Vibe
Powdered makeup looks and high-raised hairstyles (exaggerated updo), inspired by the ladies of the 18th-century court, were predominant on Marc Jacob's spring 2019 fashion show. Oh, ladies, Marie Antoinette would love this fashion show, wouldn't she? To keep the overall look well-balanced, the leading makeup artist Diane Kendall kept the skin fresh-looking, almost bare. Instead, she focused on powdery eyeshadows on the lids, matching the hair, and skipped the blush. Don't understand this look too literal, even though it is inspired by retro and even vintage waves, this makeup should look somehow futuristic and fresh.

Classic Appeal
An everlasting classic red lip trend is going to stay with us during the coldest times of the year. But this season, red hues ranging from warm orangey to bloody red showed up on models' pouts. You can easily upgrade an autumnal burgundy lip trend to something less dramatic, but just as classic and spicy. Ass seen on Naeem Khan and Moschino catwalks, add a bit of glossy lacquer on the top of your red lipstick for a refined latex-like lip look. For a plain matte finish, touch your lipstick with a fluffy kabuki brush, dipped in the translucent powder.

Look Au Naturel
Barely their makeup is a must-have look in a new winter/spring 2019 season. From dreamy shimmery eyes at Adeam models, just-kissed rosy lips at Brock Collection label to slightly blushed cheeks at Lela Rose. All-natural makeup is the most comfortable and romantic look ever invented! You can wear it daily and even for a special occasion, like a first date. Get the woke-up-like-this vibe by adding just a little hint of color on your eyelids and cheeks, skip contouring, and don't use any harsh colors for this look.

Of course, it is not an easy task to be prepared for the latest makeup and beauty trends, but we can always upgrade our favorite looks, adding a new unexpected touch. My favorite winter/spring makeup trend is a powdery face and vintage eye look. Please, let me know what your favorite trend is, would you dare to wear it in a new season? I would love to know your opinion, lovelies! Thank you very much for reading my post, I hope it was interesting and may be useful to you. Until next time!
