Hi, everyone, On day 18 of my 30 Days Beauty Blogger Challenge I would like to dedicate myself to eyebrows. I know that some girls still struggle to get the desired effect of Instagram eyebrows. Of course, you can go to a fancy beauty salon and pay expensively for microblading your natural brows. But what if I say that you can easily shape your eyebrows at home, using only a few basic makeup products.
All you need is an eyebrow product of your choice: brow pomade, powder, or pencil. Foundation or concealer to clean up the edges, spoolie, and a small synthetic brush for application and blending. Follow this easy step-by-step eyebrow tutorial to learn how to fill in your eyebrows at home.
How to Do the Perfect Instagram Eyebrow Look?
1. First start by measuring your future eyebrow shape. To find out where your eyebrow should start measuring a straight line from the tip defining point of your nose. Then measure a straight line from the corner of your nostrils through the outer corner of your eye to find the endpoint of the eyebrows.
2. Start filling in the shape with a brow pencil, brow pomade, or powder. Leave the beginning of your natural eyebrows untouched, so you can get a soft gradient transition later. Try keeping the natural width of your eyebrow and just add a small amount of product where your natural eyebrow has no natural hairs. Don't forget that the upper and lower lines of your eyebrow should be parallel.
3. Follow the natural 'curve' of your eyebrow, the highest point 'arch' should be somewhere around 3/4 of your eyebrow length. To find out where it should be line up your pencil with the center of where your pupil would be if you were looking straight ahead. Fill in your eyebrows and blend the product with the help of a small synthetic brush. Brush your eyebrow hair upwards with a spoolie.
4. Now it is time to clean up the mess and make the bottom eyebrow line extra neat and sharp. I like to use a blend between foundation and concealer to clean up the line. Apply it with a flat synthetic brush and blend out the product. And that's how you can perfect Instagram eyebrows.
I know that at first, it looks complicated and long-term task, but once you've practiced enough, you will fill in your eyebrows in no time.
