[Day 4] First Aid Beauty | Makeup Survival Kit

full makeup bag

Probably everyone was in a situation, when you need desperately need to create a beautiful makeup look in a hurry. Today is day four of my 30 Day Beauty Blogger Challenge and I'm going to talk about essential makeup products you need for a perfect face. Forget about bulky and heavy makeup bag full of products you never use! You need only a few makeup products to create a full-face makeup and be ready to rock, even if you are on a deserted island.

  • Makeup Bag

First of all, you need to choose the cutest and the most comfortable makeup kit, where you can keep all the necessary products and beauty tools. Try to choose a makeup bag that is big enough to hold all your cosmetics, but small enough to fit in your everyday makeup bag. Washable synthetic material is the best for makeup bag, because you can easily remove glitter, powder and other makeup stains.

  • BB Cream

High coverage BB cream with SPF and buildable formula is the start of our makeup kit. Some foundations may be too heavy, cakey or look unnatural on the skin. A lightweight BB cream will make your skin tone even and give a dewy, glowing finish. I know it is hard to find the right product, check out My Favorite BB Creams blog post and find out what BB creams I prefer to use.

  • Setting Powder

Both pressed and translucent makeup powders take so much space in the beauty kit, but I still prefer to take a translucent transparent powder to set my makeup. There is no need to box up your kabuki brush for an even application, a regular powder puff can beautifully set your foundation.

  • Portable Matte Eyeshadow Palette

A good quality matte eyeshadow palette definitely one of the best makeup products on the market. You can easily create few eye makeup variations, fill in your eyebrows, highlight and contour your face and all these just with one eyeshadow palette. You can choose a pre-made by brand palette, or customize your very own colors.

  • Favorite Lipstick

You will want to keep your favorite lipstick close to you, just in case you'll need to retouch your lip makeup throughout the day. Choose a shade that will look appropriate during the day and will fit your evening makeup as well. A perfect nude lipstick, that goes with your skin complexion, can easily cope with this difficult task.

After you filled your makeup kit with all the important and substantial makeup products, you can throw a few secondary products like concealer, black eye pencil and lip balm. Make sure your makeup kit is not overfilled and it is easy to fasten. Keep up with my 30 Days Blogger Challenge and I'll talk to you tomorrow, hugs and kisses!

Lots of love,
Liz
